The National Baseball Clubs Championship 2023

On the morning of July 27, at the My Dinh National Sports Complex, the Opening Ceremony of the 2023 National Baseball Club Cup – Vin Coffee Cup took place. The tournament brought together 11 clubs and more than 220 athletes.

The “National Baseball Clubs Cup” is part of the system of national baseball tournaments, a large-scale, prestigious baseball event, organized annually by the Baseball and Soccer Federation. Vietnamese software. With the desire to promote, encourage, and expand the scale of development of the formal, methodical, and scientific baseball practice and competition movement; thereby finding talent and creating resources for youth teams and the national baseball team to participate in international tournaments.

In July 2022, the Vietnam Baseball and Softball Federation organized the 2022 National Baseball Club Cup in Ho Chi Minh City for the first time with the participation of 8 teams and 168 baseball players. . At the same time, it has created an important impression on those who are passionate and love baseball, including many foreign baseball players studying and working in Vietnam.

Last February, the Vietnam Baseball and Softball Federation also sent the national baseball team to participate in the Indo China Cup DGB “Dream League” baseball tournament in Laos and left a good impression. This is the first time since the 2011 SEA Games in Indonesia that the newly formed Vietnamese baseball team has returned and participated in an international tournament.

Continuing the above activities, the Vietnam Baseball and Softball Federation continues to organize the 2023 National Baseball Club Cup, marking the second time the tournament has been held.

This year, the 2023 National Baseball Club Cup – Vin Coffee Cup takes place at My Dinh National Sports Complex, from July 26 to 30.

The scale of the tournament has also been significantly expanded with up to 11 teams participating, including 2 teams from Ho Chi Minh City, 2 teams from Da Nang and 7 teams from Hanoi. These are clubs affiliated with high schools and universities. The number of baseball players registered to participate in the competition increased to more than 220 athletes.

The tournament also received a lot of support for baseball development from organizations and individuals in Korea and Japan. The referee team participating in running this year’s tournament are referees from Korea and the Japan-Vietnam Baseball Association.
